Lincoln was the oldest high school west of the Mississippi and now stands as the only mid-rise school within the State of Oregon. The new Lincoln High now has tall, modern ceilings, numerous daylighting windows, and other unique design features such as the netted staircase and old gym floor incorporated as part of the wall outside the new gymnasium and locker rooms.
Our team worked with our long-time clients, Bora Architects on fire and life safety for the school, stadium, and accessory buildings from pre-design through construction, including hazardous materials reviews, and developing building code appeals as needed to achieve compliance for the project. The school opened to students this fall with the remaining demolition and construction of sports fields and parking expected to be complete in 2023.
